Head Spa vs. Facial: What's the Difference?
Both are relaxing spa treatments, but they focus on different areas and deliver different experiences.
What a head spa focuses on
A head spa centers on your scalp. It combines a botanical cleanse, scalp exfoliation, and a scalp, neck, and shoulder massage. The main draw is deep relaxation and releasing tension — plus a clean, refreshed scalp.
What a facial focuses on
A facial centers on the skin of your face. It typically includes cleansing, exfoliation, extractions in some facials, a mask, and moisturizer, tailored to your skin.
At a glance
Head spa — focus: scalp, neck, shoulders; best for deep relaxation and releasing tension; warm, quiet, massage-forward.
Facial — focus: facial skin; best for skin cleansing and glow; cleansing and skin-focused.
Which should you choose?
Choose a head spa when you want to unwind and melt away tension. Choose a facial when your focus is your skin. Many guests alternate — or combine both in one visit. At Zelene, you can book a head spa, a facial, or a combo at any of our six Dallas–Fort Worth locations.
